Meet the 2025-2026 Executive Board

PRESIDENT

The President sets the general direction and vision for the organization, and then works to make sure everyone else has whatever they need to succeed.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? Interacting with all of the members of COP and our members!

VICE PRESIDENT EXTERNAL

Vice President External works as a liaison between the EC executive board and EC member societies to provide opportunities for funding, awards, and additional resources.

Major: Industrial Engineering

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I'm looking forward to a great year with Grainger CoP and the EC community and excited to see everything they accomplish this year!

VICE PRESIDENT INTERNAL

Vice President Internal oversees the great work our internal directors do. VPI aids them in any help they need during the planning of their events as well as assist other PVPT.

Major: Civil Engineering

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I am most excited to see all of our different committees come together and support each other!

TREASURER

The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing EC's finances and materials. The Treasurer works closely with all EC committees in their activities and the affiliated societies which EC provides funding to.

Major: Electrical Engineering

What are you most excited for about EC this year? Holding great events and meeting new people!

CORPORATE DIRECTOR

The Corporate Director helps secure corporate sponsorships and organizes partner events alongside the committee. The Corporate Director also manages EC's alumni relations, assists with reverse career fair, and maintains EC's LinkedIn presence.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? Organizing new corporate events and EOH!

EOB CO-DIRECTOR

The EOB Co-Director is in charge of hosting outreach events for all ages and inspiring future leaders in the engineering field!

Major: Chemical Engineering

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I’m most excited to host a new outreach event, FUEL, this fall!

EOB CO-DIRECTOR

The EOB Co-Director is in charge of hosting outreach events for all ages and inspiring future leaders in the engineering field!

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I'm super excited to run all of the EOB outreach events and get to help out the kids of our community along with bonding with this years committee and all of EC!

DSAC DIRECTOR

The DSAC Director, along with their committee, hosts events for Grainger students and deans/administrators to further improve the Grainger College of Engineering based off of student feedback.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I am super excited to a work with the amazing people EC has!

EOH CO-DIRECTOR

The EOH Co-Directors, get to help an amazing Central Committee put on the largest student-run science fair in the nation!

Major: Physics

What are you most excited for about EC this year? EOH 2026 duh (but also all of the other awesome EC events coming up! be there or be square)

What are you most excited for about EC this year? Meeting new people throughout EC and Grainger through cool events!

EXPO CO-DIRECTOR

EXPO runs the career fairs along with Grainger engineering career services! We also hold our own events like the Reverse Career Fair and assist with professional development for students.

Major: Bioengineering

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I am most excited to get to know the other committees and work together on events!!

E-WEEK DIRECTOR

The E-Week Director works with their committee to organize and execute the National Engineers' Week celebration on campus. This week, filled with themed events and challenges, creates opportunities for many engineering RSOs within EC to compete and interact with one another.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I'm excited to see all the events EC has planned and to work with my committee!

DEI DIRECTOR

The DEI Director and committee runs Diversity, Equity and Inclusion events and workshops while collaborating with various RSOs and industry representatives.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I’m exited to attend more fun events and meet more engineers!

PRODEV DIRECTOR

The Professional Development Director and their committee work to enrich Grainger students' professional skills through workshops, mentorship, and by raising awareness of these opportunities.

SOCIAL DIRECTOR

The Social Director organizes gatherings for students in the Grainger College of Engineering and EC itself.

SERVICE DIRECTOR

The Service Director organizes meaningful opportunities for service and volunteering for EC members and the larger engineering community.

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I'm most excited about partnering with other organizations to help the greater Champaign-Urbana community this upcoming school year!

PUBLICITY DIRECTOR

The Publicity Director runs the EC social media pages and website to ensure that all EC events are being promoted to the public!

What are you most excited for about EC this year? I am excited to participate in the EC events and also get more people to come to them!

AWARDS DIRECTOR

The Awards Director runs all of our monthly and yearly awards ceremonies and is responsible for giving out all of our EC awards to the different students, faculty and organizations that win them!
